1. Data Minimization: We respect your privacy. This application does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal identifying information (PII).

2. Local Storage: To deliver an optimized user experience, this app sets small key-value items locally in your browser's LocalStorage. This includes saving your selected visual theme (light or dark mode) and tracking whether you have dismissed the emergency banner so it does not annoy you on subsequent page loads.

3. Analytics & Telemetry: We do not use third-party tracking pixels, marketing trackers, or profiles. External requests made to proxy API servers are used solely to fetch weather, tide, and fish count metrics and do not associate IP addresses with user profiles.
